Stacey spent over 12 years defending every type of criminal case as a trial attorney with the Colorado State Public Defender. She graduated from the transformative National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute. Stacey has taught criminal trial advocacy courses, coached nationally ranked mock trial teams, and supervised law students practicing under the Colorado Student Practice Act. Her law students generously rated her as an excellent professor after just her first semester of teaching.
